Youngs "Chip Shop" Specials, box of 2 Extra Large Fish Fillets in Beer Batter (320g) - £1-00. in Morrisons. (Louth.)
Okay, maybe not the healthiest option (being battered
) BUT it's one heck of a buy AND they are rather good too.
The fish used is Alaskan Pollock & these were dated January 2017.
Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 9 Feb: Morrisons has confirmed you can get the Youngs Chip Shop two extra-large fish fillets in beer batter or salt & malt vinegar batter varieties for £1 until Sun 14 Feb. The next cheapest we found was £2 at Asda and £3 at Tesco.
Big thanks to The Last Username for the original spot!

Tesco own seem to contain far less fat, the pack is bigger (400gm v 320gm) and they're cod (as opposed to pollock).
Great offer for those who do like them though.0
