Vegetarians miss out on a lot more than some Iceland ready meals0

I don't think Iceland sells any vegetarian chinese ready meals anyway. So its not like they excluded them from the meal deal, they don't make the food in the first place.
Just checked Sainsbury's website too, they don't stock vegetarian Chinese ready meals. Maybe there isn't a demand for it? As to be fair its quite easy to stir-fry some noodles and vegetables. Most ready meals have battered chicken or shredded duck or something else that is at least a little time consuming. Whereas if you bought ready chopped vegetables its just as quick to make your own meal if not using meat that takes longer to cook.0 -
I've just been and got one of these deals and was charged £9.50, on checking the receipt it seems that the egg fried rice is £1.00 against the rest of the dishes which are £1.50 but the whole £3.50 was deducted on the deal. Now wondering what would have happened if I had bought 3 egg fried rice instead of 1 of each
And just a heads up, the rice and mains are Iceland branded but the spring rolls are Cafe Asia branded and were in a different freezer in my store.

The small print on this offer reads " one out of the three choices of rice" not all three.
Thus, if my math is correct, the remaining items that you have a choice of only add up to £10.50. Not such a great deal after all!

We questioned those terms and conditions with Iceland last week as we spotted that too, but it confirmed it's an error, and the offer is:
3x rice dish (choice of three)
4x main meals (choice of seven)
1x spring roll (choice of two)
Happy Chinese New Year!

I wonder why Iceland feel it necessary to put more than twice as much salt per 100g in their egg fried rice than Waitrose do? And almost twice as much as Sainsbury.
Unpleasantly salty, too, so it didn't 'improve' the taste.0
