Giveaway started: 2 February 2016
What's this about?
We have 50 copies of The Dream Retirement by Charlie Reading to give away (RRP £39.00).
What to do
To try for a copy just reply to this (click on 'post reply') and say:
"Dreaming"
To do this you need to join the Forum. If you haven't already, when you click reply you'll be taken through the process. It's free, of course.
APPEAL: Please ONLY reply to this thread if you will check your private messages next week.
Bear in mind 150 names are being picked are there are 50 books (because sadly not everyone gets in touch, so doing it in this way speeds up the administrative process). Be sure to get in quickly!
Also, please DON'T email in, as your name won't be counted, nor include your contact details in this thread, as, for your own safety, we don't allow personal details on the public forum. Your post may be deleted if this is the case.
This giveaway appears in the weekly email (if you don't already get the email go to www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips) and will close at 12 noon Tuesday 9 February, so please get your posts in before then.
The giveaway has a strict one entry per household policy and entries can be deemed ineligible without any explanation or notification.

About the book and author
You’ve spent your whole life earning money, and now you need to turn off that tap and live off what you have accumulated. You worry if it will be enough and if it will allow you to live out the life of your dreams.
You don’t want to run out of money in retirement, or die the richest man in the graveyard, which is a difficult balance to achieve! You don’t want to live out a rudderless retirement without purpose, satisfaction or structure, and you don’t want your body and your mind to wither away soon after stopping work. Retirement can turn into a boring, broke and brief existence, if you don’t seize it by the neck.
But a happy retirement is not solely determined by your money. We all know of people that have aged quickly after retirement, and become a shadow of their former self, and I am sure you want to make sure that isn’t you. Retirement is your opportunity to create a fulfilling life pursuing your purpose and enjoying a balance of activities that leave you feeling energised, not bored. Many people worry about how they will spend new found freedom, and how they will stay fit and healthy as they head into their autumn years.
Charlie Reading is a Chartered Financial Planner, entrepreneur, speaker, and author who has a passion for amazing retirement planning. Amongst his four businesses, he runs the successful Chartered Financial Planning practice Efficient Portfolio.
Charlie is also passionate about building a better life through understanding what makes us happy and healthy, what makes our mind tick and what strengthens our relationships, because, ultimately, the financial side of retirement is just the starting point.
How will the people be chosen?
150 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent out to each of the winning users requesting their USERNAME (case sensitive), full name and address details (there'll be an email to send this information to as we don't want it done via Private Message).
The FIRST 50 people to get back to us will get a book.
When will I get it?
It will be sent out once all 50 winners have provided their name and address, so it may take several weeks between the giveaway's end and the actual receipt.

In order to take part in the prize draw, entrants must have a MoneySavingExpert.com Forum account, which is enabled for posting (those who wish to enter but who do not presently have a MoneySavingExpert.com Forum account can register for one, free of charge, at forums.moneysavingexpert.com/register.php).
2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
3. The prize draw will be run on a designated MoneySavingExpert.com Forum thread ([insert thread link]) (the “Designated Thread”). In order to enter, users will need to be registered to the Forum and post on the Designated Thread as per the instructions detailed the Thread.
4. The prize draw will open at 12 noon (UK-time) on Tuesday 2 February 2016 and will end at 12 noon (UK-time) on Tuesday 9 February 2016 (“Closing”). Entries received after this time will not be counted.
5. The prize is a copy of the book The Dream Retirement (the “Prize”) provided by Efficient Portfolio, priced at an RRP of £39.00 as of 3.30pm on 28 January 2016. There are 50 Prizes to give away. The Prize is subject to availability and may be changed by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. The Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be substituted by the winner for any other prize or cash value.
6. All valid entrants will be placed into a randomiser after the Closing, of which 150 will be selected and contacted within 5 working days by the Promoter via the MoneySavingExpert.com Forum’s Private Message facility.
7. Potential winners will be required to respond to the designated email address set out in the Private Message within seven days of being contacted. The first 50 recipients of the Private Message to contact the email address with their name, Forum username and postal address will be the winners and receive the Prize. If incomplete information is submitted, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner in accordance with these terms and conditions (i.e. to the 51st person to email their details to the designated email address).
8. Prizes will be dispatched to winners directly from Efficient Portfolio. By submitting your details to MoneySavingExpert.com via the designated email address you consent to the Promoter passing your information onto Efficient Portfolio to enable them to deliver the Prize to you. Efficient Portfolio will not use your information for any reason other than to deliver the Prize to you and will delete your information from their databases once the Prize has been delivered to you.
9. Efficient Portfolio are responsible for delivering the Prize to the winners, not the Promoter. They will aim to deliver the Prize to the winners within one month of the Closing (as defined in our Prize terms and conditions). Please contact the Promoter at forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com if a winner has not received the Prize within this time.
10. A maximum of one Prize is available per household. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold a Prize or Prizes if, in its fair judgement, it appears that the same person or same household has ‘won’ more than one Prize, and/or to require reasonable proof from the winner(s) in question that they are not the same person and/or do not share a household.
11. Late, incomplete, corrupt entries, or entries sent through agencies and third parties, will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. The Promoter in particular cannot accept any responsibility or liability under or in connection with the prize draw including without limitation for delayed entries due to device or internet connectivity issues.
12. These prize draw terms and conditions incorporate our Full Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these terms and conditions.
14. Promoter: MoneySavingExpert.com Limited, 19-22 Rathbone Place, London, W1T 1HY
