Free Homework Packs
From the
www.homeworkpacks.co.uk
website...
Homework Packs is a Manchester-based learning provider. We provide primary schools with a range of primary homework packs for all age groups (keystage 1 and keystage 2 homework), designed by teachers for parents and their children.
For a limited time we are now
offering free downloads of our
homework packs! They are normally
£15 each, so snap them up!
----------------------------
The packs seam like quite good fun if that can be possible for homework.. my favorite is 'take-away time' - Using leaflets from local take-aways and restaurants the children use the information to create their favorite menu.

This is a lovely idea, but it's a bit confusing. There's no link to a KS1 download on the site, and the links that are there say 'Year 2' and 'Year 3'. Then the site mentions that there's KS2 and KS3 stuff to download.
Ks2 and Ks3 are for 10-14 year olds. Years 2 and 3 are for 6-8 year olds.

Keystage
I'll ask the question via the homeworkpacks website, but I think that....
Years 2 and 3 are keystage 1
Year 4 is keystage 2 (which you can't download yet)

I went to the site and had a casino site "pop-up" despite running a pop-up blocker. Could the moderator please check this out?

Pop-ups
I get the pop ups as well even with a pop-up blocker, they are to do with the company/website (mediafire) which hosts the large word files (about 450k each).

Thanks for this have downloaded successfully. Not quite Key Stage 1 tho more aimed at KS2 I would think. If you come across anything suitable for ages 4/5 I would be eternally grateful.

Hello
Hi all.
I'm Tom, the author of homeworkpacks and it's great to see and hear from people downloading and using the packs.
We've had a few enquiries from people using moneysavingexpert and I just wanted to answer some questions you might have.
You can download the packs for 'free' directly from the site.
Don't worry about altering the information in the packs to aim them to your classes or child's ability as this is what I did each year. Parents/children with English as a second language found them particularly enjoyable as the packs were suitable for them.

I am putting a PDF version of the packs onto the site in the next few days which should help those using Vista...I hope.

Thanks for the free homeworl packs Tom.
