Default Free Game of the Week: Radio Controlled Helicopter

Another simple but very addictive game, this week is the radio-controlled helicopter that you need a steady hand and head to fly through the never ending tunnel!

MSE UPDATE 19 Dec - this game is no longer working
New ones in the weekly email each week

I'm not brill at games anyway but if it used the arrow keys or something so that it was more like actually flying a helicopter I think it might be easier or is it just me who thinks like that?

On-line archery via english heritage. Great fun & no one 'gets an arrow in their butt!'

Totally hopeless with the helicopter though perhaps shouldn't have tried it after a glass of wine! Looks fun so will have to put in some practice. Thanks

1106! Off now for some muscle rub on my index finger. Anyone know if you can sleep while your eyes are still rolling?

Default helicopter game

Managed 1102 after about 30 mins of swearing at the screen. Respect to the person who linked it and got over 2000.

Argggh. Very addictive. I only managed 611 after about 10 minutes- strange as I'm usually quite good at hand-eye-coordination things. Love it.

Good game but no wonder they can give you a 20% voucher code, the prices on the logitech site are 30% higher than anywhere else!

The example I did was the logitech MX5000 keyboard and mouse, 99.49 after the 20% discount on logitech site and you can get it for 80.92 inc vat off ebuyer.

I wanted to beat the score posted on the link and I finally did it. Top score now 2233.

Tip: lots of quick flicks of the mouse button lets you control it finely. Fly over a lot of the blocks early on (the fine control lets you hug the roof until your about 700 points in), then keep it central and have your eye on what's coming in from the right to give you a bit more reaction time.

Nice top score, I can't beat my earlier one of 1600 odd

My tip: It's quicker to fall than climb so stay nearer the top then if a barrier comes just fall under it and climb straight back up.
