I just thought I should mention this potentially dodgy/scammy phonecall.

I just had a call from a London number telling me I am going to receive 5 free Euromillions tickets. That sounded a bit odd to me and I told them I was not interested. Yet the guy on the other end of the line kept pushing telling me I could win big blah blah. I said I didn't like lotteries. Anyway in the end he offered me 100 Euromillions tickets for £20. I hung up.

Stay safe friends :)!

There's been a few "competitions" posted for euromillions tickets, I avoided them but might be something to do with one of them?

I had same call this morning. Opened with I had won £5,000 Aldi Voucher from a competition I had entered and did I remember. Then tried to sign me up for hundreds of Euromillion tickets for £39.99 per month. This is the number I was called on 0203 7019260

The £39.99 ends up buying tickets worth about £8.67 or possibly as little as £6.28

    Each of the 150 in a syndicate pays £39.99 a month for a year = £71,982
    and gets tickets worth £2 x 52 x 150 = £15,600 (£11,310)
Profit per year per syndicate before expenses £56,382 (£60,672)

(They make no mention of the UK millionaire draw and on their payouts state "regardless of where the Lines are in fact purchased" could mean the tickets are purchased somewhere in Europe in Euros)

(They are not the worst, I have seen one that out of every £1.50 paid they spent 10p on tickets)
