Giveaway started: 19 May 2015

What's this about?
We've been offered 75 copies of DIY divorce book DIY Divorce & Separation to give away. If you were to buy it it would cost you £14.99 on Amazon.
What to do
To try for a copy just reply to this (click on 'post reply') and say:
"Divorce R Us"
To do this you need to join the Forum (if you haven't already, when you click reply you'll be taken through the process. It's free, of course).
APPEAL: Please ONLY reply to this thread if you will check your private messages next week.
Bear in mind 225 names are being picked and there are 75 books (because sadly not everyone gets in touch, so doing it this way helps to speed up the administration process), so you'll have to get in quick.
Also, please DON'T email in, as your name won't be counted, nor include your contact details in this thread as, for your own safety, we don't allow personal details on the public forum so your post may be deleted.
This giveaway appears in the weekly email (if you don't already get the email go to www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips) and will close at 4pm on Monday 25 May, so please get your posts in before then.
The giveaway has a strict one entry per household policy and entries can be deemed ineligible without any explanation or notification.

About the book (the authors' blurb)
It is estimated that around two thirds of the 200,000 + couples divorcing each year in the UK will now represent themselves in court, known in the legal world as ‘litigants in person’. With the legal cost of a disputed divorce for couples frequently running as high as £60,000 (and more than double this amount if they have to take the case to a final court hearing) many are now looking at more cost-effective ways to achieve a fair settlement in court.
Written by barristers at leading London family law chambers, 1 Garden Court (1GC), the book leads people through the process of splitting up, tells them what preparation is required for court and helps them decide for themselves exactly when professional support is required. As well as including chapters on the different aspects of divorce and separation, from children to financial remedies, the book also discusses the change in the law which allows divorcing couples direct access to barristers, removing the need to incur extra legal fees.
How will the people be chosen?
225 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their USERNAME, FULL NAME and ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).
The FIRST 75 people to get back to us will get a book.
When will I get it?
It will be sent out once all 75 winners have provided their name and address. So it may take several weeks between the giveaway's end and actual receipt.
