No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by GNM.
7. The Prize Draw closes at 23.59 on 31 March 2015. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.
8. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place on or after 2 April.
9. The Prize Draw is to win the following for two adults sharing a double or twin room throughout: two return economy flights to South Africa to and from London Heathrow Airport plus internal domestic flight from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, three nights bed & breakfast at the Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, two nights bed & breakfast at Ouwe Werf in Stellenbosch, two nights full board at Shamwari Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape (includes meals and game drives), all transfers when in South Africa, excursions in Cape Town (Cape Point and Peninsula tour & Winelands tour). The Prize is strictly subject to availability at the time of booking and black out dates may apply. The Prize must be taken between 1 April 2015 and 30 September 2015 (both flights and accommodation subject to availability). The winner and companion will be responsible for transportation to and from London Heathrow. The prize does not include any travel insurance, travel expenses or any other related expenses or meals in addition to the prize package mentioned above. Any extras will be the responsibility of the winner and must be paid in full. Taxes, fuel surcharges, meals, gratuities, travel upgrades or any other expenses not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of the winner. Travel subject to booking availability. Winner and travel companions must travel on the same itinerary. The winner’s travel companion must be 12 years and over and if under the age of 18, the travel companion must have written permission from their parent or legal guardian to travel. Promoter is not liable for delays, cancellations or unforeseen events related to the flights. The winner and travel companion will be solely responsible for obtaining valid identification and compliance with all travel and health requirements (ie passports, visas, immunisations etc) relating to acceptance and use of the travel prize packages and must have no impediment to entering South Africa. Promoter will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
10. The winner will be notified by email on or before 26 March 2015 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to GNM within 28 days of being notified by GNM, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to the phone call or email from GNM within 28 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. The name and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Guardian Creative, Guardian News & Media Limited, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9GU.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
13. GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
14. The winner may be required for promotional activity and the winner shall participate in such activity on the Promoter’s reasonable request.
