What's this about?

Homebase has kindly offered us 10 Cut Needlelast Nordman Fir Christmas Trees to giveaway!

The Christmas Tree:

Our best loved non needledrop tree features soft, dark green needles and has a wonderful fresh scent which will bring authentic festive spirit into your home.

This tree has been hand pruned over many years to create the perfect shape.

Our premium quality trees are grown in the UK and selected especially for Homebase.

Height: 180 - 210cm (approximately 6 - 7ft).

Scent: Delightful fragrant pine scent.

Needle retention: Excellent.

Care instructions: Saw 5cm from base of the tree and place in a water holding stand.
Position in a cool, dry place away from direct heat. Keep water topped up.

How will the people be chosen?

30 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their USERNAME, FULL NAME, POSTAL ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).

The FIRST 10 people to get back to us will win a Christmas tree.

When will I get the tree?

Homebase is providing these trees. They’ll send them out will directly to the 10 winners, this won't happen until all 10 winners have provided their name and address. Homebase have said they will send the trees out within 3 working days (Monday-Saturday) of being sent the winner’s details. The thread will be updated to let winners know when they have been sent out.

Terms and Conditions
1. This prize draw is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Money SuperMarket.com Group PLC (including MoneySavingExpert.com), or family members of such employees. In order to take part in the prize draw, entrants must have a MoneySavingExpert.com Forum account, which is enabled for posting (those who wish to enter but who do not presently have a MoneySavingExpert.com Forum account can register for one, free of charge, at forums.moneysavingexpert.com/register.php).

2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

3. The prize draw will be run on a designated MoneySavingExpert.com Forum thread (the “Designated Thread”). In order to enter, users will need to be registered to the Forum and post on the Designated Thread using the phrase: “Merry Christmas”.

4. The prize draw will open at 10:00hrs (UK-time) on Wednesday 3rd December 2014, and will end at 10:00hrs on 10th December 2014 (“Closing”). It will also appear in the weekly email (if you don't already get the email go to https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips). (Submission in the email is up to the Editor’s final decision.)

5. The prize is a Cut Needlelast Nordman Fir Christmas Tree (the “Prize”) provided by Homebase, priced at £45.00 as of 1600 hrs on Tuesday 25th November. There are 10 prizes to give away.

6. All entrants will be placed into a randomiser, of which thirty (30) names will be selected and contacted by the Promoter via the MoneySavingExpert.com Forum’s Private Message facility.

7. Potential winners will be required to respond to the designated email address. The first 10 recipients of the Private Message to contact the email address with their name, Forum username and postal address will be the winners and receive the Prize. If incomplete information is submitted, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner in accordance with these terms and conditions (i.e. to the 11th person to email their details to the designated email address.).

8. By submitting your details to giveaways@moneysavingexpert.com you consent to us passing your information onto Homebase to enable them to deliver the Prize to you. Homebase will not use your information for any reason other than to deliver the Prize to you and will delete your information from their databases once the Prize has been delivered to you.

9. Homebase are responsible for delivering the Prize to you, not us. They will aim to deliver the Prize to you within 3 working days of receiving the winner’s details. Please contact Homebase at Gary.Purnell@homebase.co.uk - 01793 889 253 if you have not received the Prize within this time.

10. A maximum of one Prize is available per household. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold a Prize or Prizes if, in its fair judgement, it appears that the same person or same household has ‘won’ more than one Prize, and/or to require reasonable proof from the winner(s) in question that they are not the same person and/or do not share a household.

11. Late, incomplete, corrupt entries, or entries sent through agencies and third parties, will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. The Promoter in particular cannot accept any responsibility for delayed entries due to device or internet connectivity issues.
