I have just ordered from Tesco direct Verdone Lawn Weedkiller both the ready mix and concentrate and Evergreen Complete Soluble Lawn Moss Killer all half price. Other half price products are available too, so worth a look.

    Thanks OP I needed to get some weed & feed to see if it would improve the front garden, bargain at half price and also picked up some secateurs, only have one really good pair and can't get those exact ones again.

    yes, lots of offers instore too

    Can be a bit confusing though as in the gardening section signs say one of the exclusions is 'horticulture' I asked assisitant what the difference is between horticulture & gardening & she called the section manager who didn't know. A lot of the stuff marked 'garden' wasn't going through the tills with a discount - but the manager over-ruled it.

    The little twin compartment sandwich box is great - it's classed as outdoor ware.

    I suggest the Titan from screwfix, its not on offer, but its powerful, long, reasonably light, and £34.99.

    i also would suggest the same as i have had mine for the last 2 years and it gets a lot of hard use(previous house owner left hedges to run wild) never let me down
