Official MoneySavingExpert insert: Curry's hasn't got back to us with details of this offer yet, so we don't know how long these kettles will be available at this price online or whether they're available in-store as well. We'll update you when we hear back. Thanks to Middlestitch for sharing this offer.

Got one of the Curry's Essentials range hand blenders out of my local store for less than £4 yesterday :)

    Now need a new kettle!
  • Thank you, DD is off to uni later this year so this is perfect! :D
  • Would these be any better quality than the £5 basics offerings from the super markets?

I bought one of these before they were reduced. I think I paid about £14.99 and its been a great kettle. Looks lovely. I got the turquiose one.

Have ordered one for home delivery but I have seen these in Currys and they look modern and very good for the price. Thanks. With a year guarantee it cannot be bad.
  • Could someone who has one of these kettles help me out, please?

All the pictures show the kettle with the handle to the right, and a 'water level' indicator beside the handle.

If you turn the kettle so that the handle is towards the left, is there a water level indicator on that side too?

I have been caught before buying a kettle which is useless for left-handers (despite the retailer's claim that it can be "used" with either hand, it's not much good if you can't see whether there is enough/too much water in it!) so would be most grateful for help here.

If you click on the picture you get more detail and more pictures; these show that there are indicators on both sides. Good luck!

If you look at http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/small-kitchen-appliances/kettles/logik-l17pkbk12-jug-kettle-white-black-17563621-pdt.html and click on the middle picture (there's a row of 3 thumbnails below the main image), that shows the handle towards you and what is clearly a second water level indicator on the 'other' side of the kettle.

    ...ditto the blue one: http://brain.pan.e-merchant.com/8/4/17613148/l_17613148_001.jpg

Looking very closely at the other colours, you can see a smidgeon of water level indicator to the right of the handle.
  • Excellent. Thank you both. It is the red one I am interested in, and that only shows pictures with the handle towards the right!
