This seems a good offer, Co-op are doing the £7.59 size Douwe Egberts jars of coffee for £3.79 until 11 March, if you have a coffee snob like my husband it's worth stocking up at that price :j

www.co-operativefood.co.uk/deals

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: The Co-op's confirmed Douwe Egberts coffee will be half price in all stores until Tue 11 Mar. There's no max per customer.

This is the cheapest we’ve seen it (next cheapest is £4 at Waitrose), but it’s always worth doing a price comparison before buying. Thanks to muto2boys for sharing this offer.

You don't have to be a snob to appreciate this offer, just to like nice coffee ;)

That would be the 190g jar. Those naughty Douwe Egberts are participating in the great shrinking food 'scam'.

A true "coffee snob" would not drink instant coffee.:)

Seems like another case of halving the price of something which is more than double the price of the cheapest.

Is this any better than Alcafe Gold Freeze Dried Instant Coffee (200g) £2.79 (£1.40/100g)?

My son loves Douwe Egberts but he now lives in Canada where it is at least twice the price as here. When it is on special offer I stock up and take it with me when I visit so thanks for the tip I'll buy a jar for my suitcase. I also buy the filter coffee for him so I was pleased to see it stocked in our 99p store for the last few weeks, I buy a couple of packets every time I go in. Not sure if this is going to be a regular line but it flies off the shelf, I think the packets are 150g.
  • These size jars are going for £3 at ASDA at the moment, also PG tips 240 bags also £3!

    Good time to stock up
  • Hi, I'm new to this so please be gentle. When I saw that PG tips bargain, I thought I'd let you know that I picked up a sack of 1100 Typhoo T-bags (I drink a lot of tea!) yesterday in B & M for £9.99. Hopefully this may be of use to someone else who drinks as much tea as me!
