I would say if buying any art supplies from Smiths, even in the sales, its worth checking prices elsewhere as they often seem to be about 50% dearer than other shops, for example this

This morning WHSmith were reducing their packs of 10 Christmas cards. They were BOGOF and 49p, in other words 20 cards for 49p! Some lovely designs, some glittered, some foil. I've probably got enough now for the next 2-3 years!! :j

One advantage to being divorced and alone is that you no longer receive rubbish Xmas presents and don't have to buy any!!! lol!

Not sure if this counts as clearance per se, but WHSmith had cadburys milk tray (600g) by the tills for only £2.99. That sorted me for Valentine's Day! One word of caution however, the deal isn't automatic and the cashier has to scan a barcode. Mine admitted she forgot when I challenged the price, so watch the total matches what you're expecting.

In St Andrews branch today

Packs of foil and glitter ones and boxes of little ones all 49p then bogof too!

Sales assistant also said wrap was going down to 50p per roll tomorrow.

Norwich store had some good bargains today - Me to You phone charms 24p. Me to You dual keyrings (the type that come in two halves and you give to your best friend etc ) 49p. Pen sets reduced 75%. Pencil cases 75%
