Official MoneySavingExpert insert: Sainsbury's has confirmed its Basics mince pies (18 per pack) are reduced from £1.50 to 50p online and in-store until Sun 5 Jan, subject to availability. Thanks to wannapayoff for posting.

I'm so pleased I noticed this before heading out for my annual Christmas Eve cheap turkey/food hunt!
Picked up 2 boxes yesterday and they are dated Feb 2014 so will make them last!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

They're not bad. They're basics as they have less filling and are shallow pies, more the size of jam tarts.
I picked up 3 boxes. At 25p a box of 18, they're a bargain and my (adult) kids get through so many of them, I couldn't pass the offer up!0
