Having checked their website I can confirm that all 22 courses have 18 holes. That said their website specifically says that they have 12 18-hole courses.

I looked at the source for 12 as an answer and that seems to specifically refer to the amount of courses they have at their Haiko resort.

"Mission Hills is China's highest rated golf and leisure resort, and the world's largest golf club according to the Guinness World Records. Winner of multiple international awards, the 20-square kilometre golf complex features twelve 18-hole resort and championship courses designed by golf's greatest legends and architects."

So, I'm pretty sure it's 22, because that is the amount of courses they run in China, which is what the question is asking for.

The winner of this fantastic competition which includes flights with Air China and accomodation at Mission Hills is Julie Clark from Sheffield.
