Booths try to offer mainly high quality local produce and their main suppliers are in the Lake District, Lancashire, Cheshire and West Yorkshire which is also where their stores are located. It's also a part of the country which Waitrose have kept away from until very recently. If they expand too much they risk becoming another Waitrose rather than something different.
  • I can also recommend the hot chocolate but straight black coffee tasted as though they had missed out the coffee and just added water. Penrith store
  • great offer this - mines a hot chocolate! :coffee:
    - Tom
  • I have a Booths card, 4 visits £80 quid no rewards, I must have a coffee every time I go from now on.

Ventured in, in tow by a cardholder intent on her coffee, & was mesmerised by the fresh orange juice machine. Not in any way a freebie unless you watch someone else, but blimey What Fun!
Also Bags for Life 10p each and presently a very handsome drystone wall pattern.
Am signing up for my own card as apparently coffee & chocolate are Excellent.
