Not really my thing but £4 is a great price for Alex Clark mugs and I know lots of people collect them so these could make a nice little gift :)

    They are lovely!

Does anyone know if they are actually made in the UK, or is it China?
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

I'd say that they were made in UK (as it's part of the Churchill china group) and that they're made of china.

**ooh, just had a look - they're lovely**

They still have these in stock.

I ordered 4 and collected them yesterday - opened the box at 5.50pm to discovered 2 of them smashed. I rang CS and have just had 2 replacements delivered to the house.

Another example of why JL customer care is so brilliant :).

(mind you, the box that held just 2 was larger than the one used for 4 - that said, I don't think the new ones could have arrived any earlier, so I'm very happy)

Thank you Autumngirl. Have ordered two for home delivery. At £11 for the two including £3 home delivery, this is a bargain. I love Alex Clark designs, and usually go to the Churchill Factory shop in Stoke to buy them.

These are slightly different from the style I normally get, but will be very happy with them.

Delighted, excellent price, so thanks, OP.

If you paid a visit to the Churchill factory shop you'd see that lots of their stock is made abroad, can't comment on this actual mug though.

aah, I have been to the factory & up until recently used to be on their mailing list but have never noticed where it was made - or I could have just assumed it was made in Stoke.
