tesco loan application...
hi all, i was ENQUIRING about a loan online last week.
im looking at doing an extension on my house.
tesco were advertising 5.1% and i thought i would have a look to see if i could actually get 5.1%......anyway, i went through all the process, filling in the various bits, name, details, SORT CODE & ACCOUNT NUMBER.....could i just ask you guys that this is normal?
i couldnt see what APR i would get until i have done the whole form.... im not ready to actually get the cash yet as i am still looking at getting architects drawings and don't want anything going into my account yet!
once at the end of the process i clicked 'save quote for later' but i have recieved no email!?
i guess what im asking is , will i need to sign and return a form before they do anything!!??

You've clicked save quote for later as opposed to apply, so what were you expecting to happen?
You will actually have to apply for the loan before a decision is made and forms etc.. generated, but yes you will need to sign and return documentation (I don't think Tesco's accept on-line signatures)0 -

From my experience with Tesco loans-
Tesco never send e-mails,
Everything they do is by mail or phone apart from an application which an be done oth ways.
Also from my experience the saving it for later thing doesn't work so you may be best phoning for an actual decision.
Also, they would then send you a credit agreement within ~5 days and you have to sign hat to accept the offer.0
