But,

I only wanted 3 Christmassy glasses @£1.25 each but delivery is £3.50 so not worth it, and to collect free from store the only available slot is 29th - bit too late!!

I wonder is this the case with all their 50% home wares?

You could telephone your nearest store and ask if they've got the glasses. Obviously not worth it unless you're going into town anyway, otherwise probably cheaper to pay the £3.50.

I think all collect in store dates are now after Christmas, sale stuff anyway.

Given that any usage won't be until Christmas 2013 now...if you can hold your nerve, why not wait until after Sunday? I think we'll see prices plummet further....
