Temp Christmas jobs

Hi
Does anyone know when the likes of Tesco, Primarks, Marks & Spencers start to advertise temp xmas jobs?

Not sure about the others but Tesco normally start their xmas recruitment in October. Customer Services may be the best place to ask next time you're instore. HTH

Argos have posters in the store windows at the minute advertising for Xmas staff. Minimum of 12 hours a week.
As an aside a friend's son was taken on as Xmas staff last year and was kept on afterwards, still on his 12hour contract with overtime if wanted.

I work full time currently, but I fear my hours will be reduced coming into the winter period & I cant afford to lose the money again this year.

I'll need to be looking for temporary work myself soon.

Thing with shops is there aren't any FULL TIME temp jobs.... it's not looking good

Look also at the Royal Mail website, and go to their Job Vacancies section. They often take on Xmas staff at the sorting offices.

I noticed Debenhams belfast were recruiting for x-mas staff the other day on a recruitment website (sorry cant remember which one)

Probably more suited to students but Asda Dundonald are currently advertising 8hr customer service posts.

Thanks, I need something in Lisburn that I can walk to. Noticed Bhs had a poster in their window in bow street mall for Xmas staff.

TK Maxx have ads up for the North West Region on www.jobcentreonline.com so check out their contact details off that and see if they have any stores in your area which will be looking staff soon.
