What did you have for lunch today? Beans on toast or perhaps a delectable Thai curry with all the trimmings? We want to see what you make for your midday meal, and by showcasing your culinary flair, you could win a mini-break to the Isle of Wight for two and dinner at the Michelin star restaurant, The Hambrough.
Simply upload a picture and a short description of your sumptuous creation before 5pm on 30 April 2012. The 30 most original and delicious-looking dishes will be put to a vote by the you, the public, to select a favourite. The person with the most amount of votes will win a gourmet break to the Isle of Wight, courtesy of Red Funnel and The Hambrough
The winner will be staying at The Hambrough, a luxury Michelin restaurant with 5 AA star rooms in the beautiful Victorian coastal town of Ventnor. Fronted by Chef Robert Thompson, the restaurant has retained a Michelin Star for four years, helped by the abundance of delicious local ingredients the Isle of Wight has to offer. The prize includes a two-night stay at The Hambrough, with breakfast and one dinner for two people at the Michelin-starred restaurant, plus return vehicle ferry tickets with Red Funnel, the Isle of Wight specialist.

Thanks for the comp Jean. I've actually posted on their FB wall asking them to change their decision & make it a judged comp as voting comps are never fair. Maybe others who would like to enter would also post on their wall with their comments too. I've recently started entering lots of recipe comps myself but only entered this is the hope that they will change their minds about the voting. I did manage to get another FB comp changed to a judged one last week so please give it a goPositivity is the key to success0
