The dinner kits are on offer in ASDA, they are £3.22 each or TWO for £3.00.

Sounds like a bargain to me.

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: While these dinner kits are currently 2 for £3, Asda hasn't confirmed the end date for this offer so don't make a special trip. Thanks Beetlemama for posting this deal!

  • Maybe. But, these require additional ingredients. Like the meat.

  • they have seasoning, salsa and 8 wraps in each box. you need to add all the rest but its cheaper than the asda version at the moment or buying them individually.

Thanks op! It is a bargain! I use quite a lot of these so will be going to Asda tomorrow :)
Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one :))! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.

    What I achieved:
    Car paid in full straightaway.
    Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!

Can confirm they were still on offer today as I picked up a few more, incidentally, Iceland are doing their 400G bags of frozen cooked chicken at 20% extra free for £2.50, so that's 480G which is plenty enough for the kits and they do a bag of sliced peppers for £1.00.

We have these as our special "nice" dinners once a week.

  • The own brand versions are horrendous. And if the nachos are included then it's a really good deal. Wah wah wah they need extra ingredients. So do a lot of things you can buy. All you need is a choice of meat and some cheese normally. Unless you're disgusting and like onions and peppers like some kind of sick weirdo.
Sounds like a good deal, shame we went shopping already. Love a taco/enchilada/fajita dn nacho night! Mmm!

The own brand version is fine but this is cheaper than that. Meat and cheese would be boring so I'm a weirdo that loves to add onions and peppers :p

I have to say Old El Paso is our fave brand having tried Discovery and supermarkets own, the seasoning is way nicer. Also considering tortilla wraps are at least 99p a pack (and often much more) never mind the other ingredients included in the kit these are excellent value when on offer. I normally have one in the back of the cupboard having stocked up when they're on offer.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I bought some of these the other day from Asda. For some reason, I only picked up 3 instead of 4, so when I had paid, I went and fetched another one and took it to customer services.

She then GAVE ME 22p back! I thought it was quite funny that they were paying me to take another 1 off their hands!

We love these as a mid week meal, might go and get another couple today!

Thanks- Though we bulk buy the spice packs when they are on 2 for 1 and buy own branded tortillas (we dont use salsa!)
Thats a good alternative if you dislike salsa etc.
