Im sure it was the october half term holidays, as most people had to shop online due to having kids at home.
Really bad planning on sainsburys part, as im sure if they did it when kids were at school people would spend more actually visiting a store, and buying stuff they see, but never actually went in for.

No i wouldnt complain at all , and its not when it suits either thank you , this is the forum were im most likely to get a response for what im asking , im not spamming the forum , and as its a half price sale its a grab it i would think ? im not here to argue i come on for bargains , might not be right board for it but im sure if thes a correct board for it to be on itll be moved
Maybe telling me the right forum to put it in would of helped more thx

OMG its 1am - the board is practically dead, so hardly a great time to post for an instant reply, people are hardly going to miss a bargain, because of this 1 post.
But I suppose its gives the forum police something to moan about.

It's not a grabbit, but on this occasion I think asking is fine. The Sainsbury's sale thread is a big deal for a lot of people and many MSE'ers use this forum for that particular deal ahead of Christmas.
Perhaps to avoid this happening again though we should get an "official" Sainsburys sale thread set up ahead of the sale starting?

This has been asked at least twice this week on here lol! Anyway, it's 'normally' the Thursday of half term which this year will be the 27th October.
Oh and in 2009 it was online but last year it wasn't. Hence those of us who waited up until midnight had a waste of time!!

Why does everyone get so angry about where a post should be!!!!! In the whole scheme of things who really cares!! I imagine the grabbit thread is the most viewed so people put it on here so that some people get the chance to see it. People have told me that they do not use this website because of how nasty some people can be!! Life is too short to get all fired up over something so small. Thats just my opinion anyway.
Ps thanks for the heads up OP, it just reminded me to keep the Sainsburys sale in mind.
Ps let the countdown to Christmas begin, very excited

why are people incapable of understanding the purpose of the grabbit board?
plenty of other sections, but no its easier to fill the section with junk and possibly lose folks a bargain than put any effort into posting.
safe in the knowledge someone will be along to defend them........

You strike me as very selfish - 'I want an answer now so I'm going to post wherever I want'. What would happen if everyone took such a view?

It's not a Grabbit, and as a Grabbit Board Guide, I'll now be moving it to somewhere more appropriate. If you know it's not a Grabbit, don't post in the Grabbit board. Use the 'I wanna' or 'Shop but Don't Drop' board. Simples.
---------------------
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
---------------------
Hi. Martin has asked me to tell you I'm the Board Guide on the Grabbit, Shop but don't drop and Martin's Blogs & Appearances Discussion boards. I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly, and I can move and merge posts there. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an illegal or inappropriate post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com (it's not part of my role to deal with this). Any views are mine and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.com.
