ginger wine

I bought some ginger wine from sainsburys to try but it is far too sweet. I don't want to waste it, but I can't stand to drink it. Any ideas what else I can do with it?

    Seriously, I don't drink it 'neat' but it's great in brandy or whisky, espcially in the winter. My favourite, brandy, ginger wine and a drop of hot water - mmmmmm yum!

    Put a layer of Jamaican Ginger Cake in a trifle bowl and pour some ginger wine on top along with chopped canned pears. Top with custard and cream - pear and ginger trifle, and it's delicious!
