I think you just turn up as the site says come early to get a good spot.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0

Should be outlawed under the 'misleading' laws. Nearest one to me's 60 miles away, in a completely different county.
With so few venues, how can they say "in your home town"??0 -
Ah, this is fantastic. I missed out on Carmen last year (had a double booking for something or another), but I fully intend to go this year. Can't wait! Thanks for posting.Invented tradition: Couponology

Thanks for reminding of that - I go to the open air operas every year - brilliant. Yes it is free - no need for tickets at all. Just bring- a brolley, something to sit on, wrap up well and bring some food and vino. Hope it will be nice weather for us all on the evenings specified. Thats my 4th July sorted. Enjoy everyone x0

Please remember to take your own chair with you to these free events.
Some years ago I took a fold up chair to Swan Lake in Hull and completed the last few miles into Hull by train. Think I must have looked a bit odd popping into a pub & disappearing into the Gents toilet with this chair.:rotfl:
That event in Hull was so poorly attended the ROH have weeded down the venues since.0
