We are currently updating our

We're looking at 'wedding for a grand' offers from hotel chains such as Holiday Inn, Britannia Hotels and Old English Inns, which all have packages for 999...please tell us whether you've experienced these and what you thought of them.

We also want to know about independent venues that have similar packages, so please let us know if your local pub or hotel has this deal and if it's any good
...

... thanks for your help and we'll bring you the new guide very soon!

The Old Rectory in Essex have fantastic rates, some days are venue free and they'll allow you to bring in your own catering!

Days Inn have a 1000 package called A Grand Day for A Grand
We are choosing the chester north hotel (on border of wales/cheshire)
The 1000 Wedding Package
The Days Hotel is pleased to offer the 1000 wedding package - we compromise on the price, not quality. There are two options for this wedding package:
Option 1 ''The Day & Night''

The Day & Night includes a 3 course wedding breakfast for a maximum of 40 guests and an evening finger buffet for up to 60 guests. You can also enjoy:
  • Glass of Sparkling Wine to toast your speeches
  • Red Carpet arrival
  • Wedding host for the entire day
  • Deluxe room for the Bride & Groom
  • Discounted bedroom rates for wedding guests
Option 2 ''The Evening Bash''

If you’re having a small weddings ceremony, why not simply host your evening celebrations at The Days Hotel Chester. Our Evening Bash page includes a delicious Chefs Hot Fork Buffet for 75 guests plus:
  • Resident Disco
  • Deluxe room for the Bride & Groom with champagne
  • Wedding host for your event.

A hotel reasonably close to me, the Three Salmons in Usk is doing an all inclusive for 5000, ceremony, three course wedding breakfast for 60, chair covers, flowers (both to match your colour scheme) , also included is the evening do with disco and buffet for 100, private bar and the bridal suite for the bride and groom. It also includes a full Welsh breakfast for the bride and groom the morning after as well. I'm very tempted...

ETA It's a 17th century coach house, and they only do one wedding at a time. It's also just been refurbished. The reviews on TripAdvisor are very good too.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!

If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!
