If it helps anyone, Broadway campsite at Cheddar, Somerset is included. This is just up the road from me. I havent been in there for a number of years but it use to be really good. If you have kids :outdoor pool, big adventure play area but if you have older kids the site has a world class BMX racing course, I would advise you bring helmets & protective gear - it's massive. I think it might also have a skate park & crazy golf.
  • That is great, thanks OP, I have never seen this offer before. I quite fancy Flamingo Land (its on the list).. How do the pricing work for that, does anyone know? Thanks..
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

  • I'm glad I read the small print now as this does include caravans and motorhomes! From the pictures etc I thought it was just tents.

Can I ask those who have been before do you really actually get a night for 95p or are there alot of add ons eg: entertainment passes etc? There isnt much information on the site unless they are going to print more in the supplement on Wednesday.

Just thought I would share my experience with you on this one - not sure if all the campsites are doing the same but I have just emailed one site to see if there are any add-ons.

    They have said:

Minimum of 3 night stay - first night at 95p then two nights at full price of £15 making total of £30.95

Can they do this? Seems a bit dodgy to me!

I just phoned Auchenlarie and they told me that the don't have any 95p pitches but are doing all pitches for £10 per night (including hook up) till the end of May. Certainly not as good a deal but is a lot cheaper than it usually is.

Hmmm just got another email back from another site - the 95p covers the site fee usually £6, then you pay £3 extra for each adult, £2 extra for each child and £4 extra for EHU. SO that works out at what we usually pay anyway.

I think this is false advertising by the Mirror - you can't go camping for 95p at all!
