Following five consecutive years of success, Monopoly is returning in 2011 with its biggest ever prize pool! A game that our customers know and love, Monopoly gives us the chance to offer our customers fun ways to play to win great prizes.

23rd March - 10th May

In 2011 we will be running Triple Play Monopoly. Triple Play Monopoly (as its name suggests) offers our customers 3 ways to play; Instant win, Collect to win and Online win. Prizes include £500k, 40,000 ipods and cash prizes of £10, £20, £50 or £200 available to win online every minute.

Due to the success of Monopoly in previous years we have added an extra week to the length of the 2011 campaign moving from 6 to 7 weeks. Triple Play Monopoly launches on 23rd March and runs until 10th May.

How do customers play Triple Play Monopoly?

If a customer buys a product with Monopoly game pieces affixed to its packaging, they will have the chance to win from our prize pool. All game pieces will contain 1 online game sticker. The remaining game stickers will be either Instant win or Collect to win pieces. Monopoly encourages trade up as customers increase their chance to win if they buy a meal or large meal.

How to win

Customers will have three ways to win with Triple Play – they peel the game piece from the promotional packaging to reveal their stickers. They could have an:


Instant win – Customers can win instantly by peeling and revealing an instant win prize (including numerous food prizes).

Collect to win – This mirrors the way you actually play the Monopoly board game. Customers collect and complete property sets to redeem them against prizes (eg collect both brown streets to win an iPod Shuffle).

Win online – Whether it’s a double or a triple game sticker, customers will always receive an online code as 1 of their game pieces. By entering their code online, customers can have the opportunity to win cash prizes every minute for the whole of the Triple Play Monopoly promotion.

Mechanic

Double stickers are available with:
Medium cold cups (also used for Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel milkshake)
Medium fry cartons
Mozzarella Dippers
Creme Egg McFlurry

Triple stickers are available with:
Large cold cups (also used for Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel milkshake)
Large fry cartons
Premium Salads lids
Chicken Selects 3 & 5 piece clamshells
Chicken Legend clamshells
Quarter Pounder Deluxe (with and without Bacon) clamshells

Each restaurant will be allocated a case of double stickers (750 stickers per roll) and a case of triple stickers (500 stickers per roll). These sticker rolls will also be allocated throughout the promotion and will be based on qualifying drink and salad sales forecasts.


Double and triple stickers will be available for handing to customers as follows:

1 double sticker with Mineral Water/Orange Juice/Milk/Fruit Shoot/Hot drink/Garden Side Salad (swapped for Fries) – when ordered as part of a medium EVM.
1 Triple sticker with Mineral Water/Orange Juice/Milk/Fruit Shoot/Hot drink/Garden Side Salad (swapped for Fries) – when ordered as part of a large EVM.
Stickers may also be given out to customers to replace labels that are damaged, blank or missing from packaging.
