50% off Christmas cards one week from 29/11 at M & S

The '50% off beauty' display at my local M & S had been replaced by Christmas cards late on this afternoon, so looks like next week's half price offer is packs of Christmas cards. They always change the display (books, toys, beauty etc) just before closing on the Sunday, and every week so far the products on those shelves have been half price the following day. No glitches so far though, they always take them off 3 for 2 just before the half price promotion kicks in. I don't need any cards, but might be useful if you're intending to buy this week.

Thanks buyitall for this one. The offer's in store and online at Marks & Spencer.com, and you can also get 50% off Christmas wrapping too. Standard delivery is £3.50 but you can collect in store for free.

Actually I am not going to bother with this. The charities have been suffering because less and less people buy Christmas cards each year so I will buy mine from one of them instead.

Having worked for a charity, I've discovered that the amount they receive from the sale of their Xmas cards is practically nothing. We'd probably be better to use the offers to save our cash and then making a donation to charity with what we've saved :)

Are you sure? That's not what I read in the newspaper but newspapers make up half of their stuff!

Does anyone know whether the offer changes at midnight? Would be great to get cards half price. Thanks very much.

I have to agree with soapyjoe, it puts me off that such a small percentage of the amount actually goes to the charity. Instead I usually buy a few gifts from the cows 'n' things site as its a more practical & useful way to donate imo.

In each pack of cards there is also a 50p voucher off an everday greetings card.

Thanks for this but I want to donate to a charity for people in the UK. I will Google it.
