This is for both the Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon.

Offer is limited to 6 CASES per person (that's 36 bottles). Top wine for less than a fiver

Thanks angelizz for the find. The bottles are priced at £4.49 each and the offer's on til 5 Sept at any of your nearest Morrisons.

They've had this deal on before, and it's an excellent saving on an excellent couple of wines. I find that most supermarket wine 'offers' are simply created by overpricing the wine in the first place, but Wolfblass is a reputable wine and a genuine price of around £8 is usually about right. So if this is under £5 it's a great deal

My OT's favourite wine! Thanks OP, will have to nip down and get some before they sell out
  • Take care & check your receipt before you leave the store - I bought some bottles last week and on both occasions was charged 5.99 & not 4.49:eek:
  • Anyone actually know the cost? If it's half price from the hiked price they put on especially so they should say it's now half priced - it's probably less of a good deal.

The Cab Sauv is good quality for a mass produced wine.

£4.49 is about £1 cheaper than Tesco's usual special offer price (not on at the moment). You can occasionally get it for £5 in Asda. Not sure anyone ever pays £8.99.

It's like lindemans wine. Asda used to have it in their 3 for £10 offer, yet they wanted upwards of £8 per bottle if you bought it single. Who's so daft?!

This wine is absolutely nothing like Lindemans, it is a far, far higher quality.

£9 would be on the pricey side, but expect to pay about £7.99 usually for a wine of this quality. Wolfblass has an excellent reputation and the yellow label has won numerous awards.

Its overrated & overpriced & probably Wolfblass (the same as any other wine maker) paid for a lot of those "awards".....

Lindemans has its good and bad products just the same & to generalise in the way you did show a definate lack of taste...

I would love to spend time discussing the quality of both makes but I still have the awful aftertaste you get from a bottle of yellow label Wolfblass from the one that I drunk 5 years ago.......... :p

I was making a point at how supermarkets overprice wine in general and then can have some cracking deals at the same time.

I didn't comment on the wine. Wolf blass yellow label chardonnay happens to be one of my favourite wines.
