I was disappointed by this - had hoped all council tax was to be frozen, but from listening to the budget speech, I thought he said that councils who decided not to raise council tax would get some central government help. That is to say, councils who decide they won't be doing any such thing can carry on as usual.0

I can guarantee that my Council - Poole Borough Council,a Conservative one, will still raise my Council Tax!!!!! They have raised it every year by more than the average in the country and by at least 2% above inflation!
