hate to be negative but i was one of those idiots who searched everywhere at xmas for these things,i managed to buy the house, car and garage and two hamsters for my dd and can honestly say i whish i hadnt botherd!
although dd was initially thrilled with them we all soon realised that they dont actually work very well at all!they eat batteries and the house seems to repeatedly fall to pieces much to my dd's frustration
ours have remained virtually untouched since xmas day, even at half price still not worth the money and will cost you a fortune in batteries

I agree with the poster above me. We spent a fortune on ours and they are now gathering dust on the shelf in my kids room0

The pink ones were £5 at Argos last week. To be honest, around £3 is what they are actually worth - how they became such a big deal I can't imagine - they are a pretty basic, short-term toy imo.0
