This was posted in 2008 but the link has now changed to the one below.
https://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/cycling/11682.aspx
Ordering Free Cycle Guides
To order your free map(s) you can: - Fill in the order form below (you should receive an email confirming your order and giving you a reference number)
- Call the 24-hour travel information service on 0843 222 1234
- Pick them up at bike shops, leisure centres and Travel Information Centres
We can't send you more than nine guides. If you need more, please use this form to contact us with more information.
Move your mouse over the relevant areas on the map below to view the areas covered by the different guides.
Hi. Martin has asked me to tell you I'm the Board Guide on the Freebies and Freebies (Low Spend) Board board. I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly, and I can move and merge posts there. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an inappropriate or illegal post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com (its not part of my role to deal with reportable posts). Any views are mine and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.com.

Isn't 0843 222 1234 the same as 020 7222 1234? Calling the 02 number may be cheaper for some I should think.
Calls to 0843 numbers are charged at a maximum of 5 Pence per minute from a BT landline, other operators will vary.
The little Cycle Journey Planner on the right of the page posted by sarah1972 is pretty neat don't you think, it saves you from unticking all the default options on tfl's regular journey planner as well.

still available https://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/cycling/11682.aspx
The routes in these 14 printed guides have been recommended by experienced cyclists and are checked and updated regularly.
Guides can only be ordered to UK addresses and there is a limit of 6 guides maximum to each address
