Options
Sorry if this is in totally the wrong place - feel free to move it mods!:D

Hubby has been having a spat with VW finance and was threatened with court - they have now sent a letter offering a'drop hands offer' ie the case will be dismissed but each party pays their own costs

very pleased to see this but need to know what our costs may be
can anyone help or suggest somewhere I can find the info?
Cheers

Hi Yonny, your costs are basically what it says on the tin. Have you had to instruct a solicitor and/or incurred any legal costs regarding this action? It means that they will bare their own costs i.e. the legal department/solicitors/court fees for whom your husband who has been having a spat with and if you have then you will be responsible for paying your own.

Hi sausageface and thanks for replying!!:)
we havent instructed a solicitor or incurred any legal costs whatsoever as far as we know - we received a court document through the post - filled in our defence and posted it off and this is the first we've heard back!

I would hope this means that our costs are minimal but not having any experience with this I didnt want to be stung by any hidden charges!!!
    xx
