Im thinking of enlarging a photo of my son (11months) with his great grandma and a separate one with him and his great grandpa...over the photo im going to write a poem and this will be thier xmas present from him.
i have searched and searched online and the majority are about dead grandparents....considering these are still alive its a tad innapropriate to put these on lol

has ANYONE got any nice, lovely poems about great grandparents that i can steal? PLLLEEEEAAASSEE

I used this one for my little man's great-grandpa. Any good?

    Great-Grandpa take my little hand,
    Hold it close and dear.
We have both been truly blessed
    To have each other here.
    Generations join us,
    Though many years apart.
Together in this time and place,
    Together in our heart.
My life is new and innocent,
    Yours experienced and wise.
Great-Grandpa let us share the world
    Through each other's eyes.
Few are blessed as I am,
So I thank the Lord above
That I have one so special
As you, my Great-Grandpa to love.

You're welcome! How about this for Great Grandma-similar but different??

Great Grandma take my little hand,
    Together we will walk
Slow enough to see the world,
    With time enough to talk.
Great Grandma share your life with me,
    Teach me what you know.
Hold me ever close to you,
    Watch me as I grow.
    Great Grandma you are special
To the family and to me.
Although I'm still but very young
    It's very clear to see.
How blessed I am to have you
    Holding me with pride
To grow up with you here with me,
My Great Grandma by my side.
