    Hi

Which debts are charging you interest and at what APR?
The metropolitan debt - what was this for? is this the debt with the default?
Is the £500 in addition to being able to make at least minimum payments on all the debts?

Presumably you did default on the account? what does your notice of correction say?

Having a poor credit history will mean you'll struggle to get a mortgage. If you can pay off your defaulted debts and have them marked as settled you might be able to get a subprime mortgage - which generally have a much higher APR than you get on the high street, and they need a larger deposit than the high street banks will accept.
