Best day's shopping for a long time! Did 4 at sainsburys petrol - got 2x500 1000 and 5000! Went to tesco for more hipps. Handed in 6 coupons and young trainee SA did I want to use all my coupons! Empty shelf in wrose for the ariel but asked at CS and someone went to look in stockroom and came back with one box. Used contactless for another 5pc off £7. On to Asda for whoopsies. There was just so much bakery stuff at 10p it was amazing. Everyone must have been going to sainsburys today.

SIMONE - I did see you post on the ariel tabs at Asda and seriously contemplated doing this if I had no luck at wrose. The only thing that put me off was spending this large apg in there as I usually only get my whoopsies in there esp as there aren't many glitches now. Thank you so much for thinking of me.
QOC - thanks for the info on wombles at the co-op.

The buzz of the nectar promotion today compared with the height of H&B at Tesco years ago. I have had my fun today and now need to do the contents/buildings insurance. Anyone got any good tips please?

I do indeed. Rainbow knits or something... :rotfl:

I have burned a lot of my old photos, just keeping a few from each year now. It's kinder for the descendants. :D

We have an entire chest filled with random family stuff appropriately called The Memory Chest including a massive amount of photos - why did we never think of labelling anything with dates, places or names even? Numerous hours spent looking at early photos and saying - son number one or son number 2?????
There is one photo recently emerged of a red ugly blotchy new born - it has to go in the recycling, nobody ever needs to see it :D

TM I had to do a double take this afternoon at Homebase Across the top of the large bags of bird seed was an pretend bird maybe an Owl? The head was solid material but the body was like thin plastic and moving about and it was scary looking I stood and smiled then thought how silly I must look :)

sounds like a duck to me:)

Honey G through. Facepalm expression!!!

I'm being introduced to a whole new genre of TV programmes now DD is living at home and X Factor is one of them:o

Surely HoneyG is a spoof or is it a case of the Emporers new clothes?

Or is it just a publicity wind up?

My gratitude list for this month so far:

    Thank you to:

    Bella Italia
    Sweet Sundays
    B00ts
    MnS
    Hipp
    S/bobs
    Sada
    Fleabay

And for all the Elite, as always x

It's all adding up rather nicely.

By the way, did you know if you catch an autumn leaf, every one you catch means a bountiful month in the coming year?

A very interesting list. I dont think mine is as long, lets see
Mainly the endless advice, feedback, suggestions, support, common sense, wit and humour from all of the Elite which is beyond value:j

nice cashback freebies from all of the apps
COS drawdown of £37 plus Q and TCB must be another £20
TCB - both insurances cashback going into paid column £80
£15 in Amazon and paypal from uploading receipts on apps
£5 randomly found in the car park
Muller cherry corners and strawberry rice almost free with APGs
Free Hipps for the food bank (and almost free canned soup)
    Free vests from Marks
cheap overnight premier inn for next year
Sainsburys swipe and win weekend - final count to come
free lovely coffee from Waitrose x 4
nice skin stuff to test from our fav people north of the border
o2 freebies - Neros hot choc, Boots £1 lunches and freebies ...
Thorntons - free xmas snowman lollies
Greggs - free crisps, granola and bakes
    P & O - cabin upgrade :)
Tesco direct - 6 very nice pillows for £7
    B & M - 5 sale cushions for £1 each
Freecycle - nesting boxes, no idea what i am doing with these :o

Also quite a big one, I finally made a decision after an enormous amount if research and deliberation and did my, probably very last big conversion of Mr !!!!!! CC points which Ive been saving for 2 years, this wont happen ever again as you can no longer convert your TCB to CC points and Mr T has become incredibly mean altogether
I converted my CC points stash into £810 of P&O to use as a part deposit for a great adventure, a very long way off - in time and geographically :)

Until you make a list you dont realise what a good month it actually has been and 2 more weeks to come :T

OMG, I am an amateurs compared to you two.

    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
