Claiming course fees back

Options
IN 2007 my son paid 3000.00 for a an online IT course with seetec, but within a few weeks of doing it, he was moved withing his firm and had to go out on the road, not getting home till all hours and a lot of the time he had a stop out (working away from home) he had to take this move as his wife fell pregnant and they needed the money, he sent seetec an email stating that he would not be able to continue the course because of this, they replied stating that they would not refund any of the money but would give him an extension of 5 months.

He was still unable to do the course, with working away and now having the baby, imo i think he should of been able to claim a part of the fee back, as it was an online course and that he had not taken anyone's place in doing it, it would of been different if it was in a class and they only had x amount of spaces

As i am not sure of the rights of claiming course fees back, i wondered if anyone knew if he was entitled to do so or not.
