When do I start cleaning up my credit file?

Hi all,

I went BR in Jan 14 and was automatically discharged earlier this month. Woo-hoo :j

When should I start the process of cleaning up my credit files?

Is it a couple of months after AD or do I wait until 6 years after my BR?

Does my BR fall off my record completely 6 years after my BR or 6 years after AD?

Start the clean up a couple of months after discharge. Gives you a couple of months to take a breather and for the companies to get their a$$es in gear and correct them for them selves. If they don't in that time you can then chase them.

BR falls off 6 years from your petition.
