Hi All,

I hope this is the right forum to post this question on

I want to register my kid with a nursery so she learns to play with people and socialise from early age as she is due to get goverment 15 hours grant in Sept 18.

I found a nursery and they asked us to pay a registration fee which we did
they now called us to say they don't have any spaces and can put my daughter on waiting list

I have found a neighbor who looks after kids and is registered with ofsted.
She has turned her home to nursery and looks after 6 kids or so .
She also has 3-5 employees but my concern is how do I know they are not abusing my kid

My thought is because she is not in a council nursery , a private nursery could be abusing childs and no one knows
it is like a private nursery with all employees working for one person

am i been too paranoid?

what is your experience?

    her staff should be CRBd.

But yes you're being paranoid. If she's ofsted registered it's no different. She has been checked. Your child could technically be abused anywhere, sorry.

Yes your being paranoid. Children much more likely to be abused in their own home.
Overactively underachieving for almost half a century
