Hi all,
I played last of us on PS3 and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Should I bother buying the remastered version for PS4?
Thanks in advance

Do you want to play it again in a higher resolution for £30?
Or to put it another way: if someone gave you £30 to not play the Remastered version, would you take it?Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.
Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -

It's good but really quite tough0 -

I struggle with the multiplayer too. Haven't played a lot of it (or for a while) after I got moaned at on there for being a newbie.0 -
multiplayer gaming as a whole seems to be flawed because it tends to only work for those good at games. the only exceptions i have experienced are halo 3 and killzone 2. with those games it was possible to have fun without having to be brilliant.
ps i havent tried multiplayer on last of us.0 -
I want to support the company, and I really enjoyed the original, so I will be getting it, it comes with the added DLC as well as the very well done enhanced graphics.
It's entirely personal though.0 -
I wasn't going to bother (played the original on PS3, thought it was ok but a bit samey and frustrating) until I saw my sister playing it on PS4 - it just looked so damn beautiful and played so smoothly that it put my old copy to shame (yes, I am shallow). I bought a PS4 with it and InFamous, and finished TLoU just last week. I actually enjoyed it so much more on PS4 than PS3 - I don't know why that is. Perhaps it just played so much more smoothly, maybe they tweaked the controls slightly, who knows. Either way, I don't regret it at all and am looking forward to a +Playthrough once I finish my other 2 games.
The added DLC is a bonus as well, and Left Behind is actually a really sizeable chunk of game that sets the scene for LoU (plus fills in a gap in story). I think if you enjoyed the first one and are looking for an excuse to play it again, why not play a superior copy?0 -
..and of course you can sell it once finished.
I did this (bought new for £28, sold for £33 on eBay)
Great game, and Left Behind is amazing - very well scripted/voice acted.0 -

You could also be on the other side of that. Why not wait until it can be bought for less than £20 2nd hand. Then you could sell it again for only a little less than you bought if for.The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0 -
Great game. THE REASON FOR ME SWITCHING TO SONY0
