Part time employed part time self employed

Hi there! I’m contacting as I’m confused by reading a couple of bits about getting first time mortgage to buy a house. I currently work 3 days a week employed by nhs and 2 days privately in the exact type of job. Now I have only been working self employed since this year and heard it is difficult to get a mortgage self employed. But is it just as difficult getting a mortgage when part time employed also?
