Paying off CCJ's Effect

Hi Guys,

First post and first step to getting my financial affairs in order.

I currently have 4 x CCJ's Totalling £1798 of which I am about to pay of and get marked as Satisfied, the question i have is what effect will this have on my credit file, and will their be a noticable improvement on it, if so how long before I start to see that improvement ?

Also I have some defaults on their that I am going to settle as well, once i have paid these do the creditors update the file to show these as paid ?

Hi,

Wont make much difference at all unfortunately, whilst you still have defaults on there.

Once paid, they will be shown as settled yes, but dont expect things to improve until the whole lot has fallen off your file after the 6 years are up.
