Thistle are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a magical London trip. In association with glh Hotels we’ve created 3 itineraries on our interactive map “London Covered”. Each itinerary plots out a day of London activities. The winner may choose one of the three itineraries.
This prize also includes a stay at a Thistle Hotel. The 3 itineraries available to choose as the basis of your prize are: “London’s riverside festivities”, “Explore London’s Festive Heritage” and “Kids Run Christmas”.

• This competition is open to UK residents only. No purchase necessary.
• Entrants must be over 18 to enter. Employees, contractors and associates of GLH and any participating vendor/supplier and any of their immediate family members are excluded.
• One entry per household.
• The prize is one of three London itineraries as specified on the Londoncoverved.glhhotels.com interactive map and detailed below. The winner may choose their preferred itinerary and the corresponding prizes. Only one itinerary may be chosen.
• Itinerary 1: Explore London’s Festive Heritage
• The prize on offer is for a complimentary night’s stay in a standard double or twin room for 2 adults including breakfast at a Thistle hotel of your choice, £40 towards a meal at My Old Dutch pancake house, £50 towards tickets to an event of your choice at The South Bank Centre, £50 towards tickets to an event of your choice at Somerset House and £100 towards tickets to a performance of your choice at The London Palladium.
• Itinerary 2: London’s Riverside Festivities:
• The prize on offer is for a complimentary night’s stay in a standard double or twin room for 2 adults including breakfast at a Thistle hotel of your choice, entry to The Tower of London or 2 adults, a meal for two adults at The Coppa Club to the maximum value of £100, £50 towards tickets to an event of your choice at The South Bank Centre and £50 towards tickets to an event of your choice at Backyard Cinema.
• Itinerary 3: Kids Run Christmas:
• The prize on offer is for a complimentary night’s stay in a standard family room for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 16, including breakfast at a Thistle hotel of your choice, a £40 gift card at Doughnut Time, a £50 Hamleys gift card, a standard sightseeing ticket with City Cruises for a family of 2 adults and 2 children and £50 towards a sports or leisure activity of your choice in Hyde Park.
• The winner of the prize and all accompanying guests must be aged 18 years old or over save in relation to Itinerary 3 (Kids Run Christmas) where guests must include at least two children aged under 16.
• All prizes are subject to availability. No cash alternatives unless expressly stated above.
• Unless expressly stated otherwise in the trip itinerary transport to and from participating vendors/venues is not included in the prize and the winner and guests must make their own arrangements. Travel insurance is not included.
• Prizes are non transferable and non-exchangeable.
• In order to enter the competition qualifying entrants must enter their first name, surname and email address on the competition entry page. .
• The competition ends on 26th December 2017 at 23:59 UK time and late entries will not be considered. The winner will be chosen, then notified by email using the contact details provided by 5th January 2018.
• The winner’s name will be available on request.
• The winner will be chosen at random after the competition closing date from amongst the valid entries.
• GLH’S decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• There will only be one winner, if the winner is unavailable or does not respond within 48 hours a new winner will be chosen
• The Hotel’s standard booking terms will apply.
• GLH reserves the right the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this competition.
• GLH will contact the competition winner using the contact details provided to arrange delivery of the prize after the winning entry has been chosen. The prize is subject to availability, black-out dates and is non-transferable. The prize must be taken by 31st December 2018.
• By entering the competition you agree and give your consent for GLH and its affiliates to use you in any post promotion publicity
• By entering the competition entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. GLH reserves the right to withhold any prize in its entirety or any element of a prize for violation of any of the Terms and Conditions.
• To the extent permissible by applicable law: 1) GLH will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winners’ use or enjoyment of the prize; 2) the winner acknowledges that GLH accepts no responsibility whether directly or indirectly for any claims whatsoever arising in respect of the prizes provided by any third party providers and any sponsors.
• The terms of this competition shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and Entrants agree that the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to its subject matter.
