Hi, my doctor diagnosed me with depression 3 years ago, and so I've been on many different kinds of antidepressants since then. I recently found out that I have a completely different condition, one that was really easy to diagnose and does not need medicating. I am really frustrated because it seems I have wasted 3 years worth of time and money, is there a way I can get this money back?

Show your evidence that there has been medical malpractice to a specialist solicitor..0

Be aware that a misdiagnosis is not necessarily malpractice. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I know someone with mental illness and its notoriously hard to get the right medication. He had to go through a number of different types and mixtures and levels to get to what he is currently on.
That is the normal pattern and does not mean malpractice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
