Torch

Not sure if this is on the right board so feel free to move it.
Now the dark nights and mornings are here I'm looking for a small torch clip on or pocket to use whilst I'm walking my dog and I can see where she is in the field and I can see where I am going.
I thought the runners or cyclists may be able to help??

    Why not get a headtorch?

Personally I prefer something I can hold or clip onto a coat.

I second the headtorch suggestion. A tenner on Amazon gets you a rechargeable LED jobbie, which looks good enough.

I needed a torch for taking the dogs out early morning before work and I got a brilliant led headtorch for £12 on ebay.

Why don't you want a headtorch? - it looks where you look!!!

Get a headtorch - they're so convenient, they light up the direction you're walking in, and leave your hands free.

We got this recently for my lad when he was doing his DofE hike, it's brilliant :

Also it may be worth getting an LED collar for your dog too so that you can see where it is. Also helps other people not run / walk into your dog when they can't see it.
I spend a lot of time in the winter months kicking dogs when I am running because you can't see them!
As an aside I will never understand why dog walkers insist on walking dark coloured dogs whilst wearing dark coloured clothing.

My dog is white, but for a few quid it may be worth getting one as an added extra for seeing where she is when we go into a field.
