in Gone off!
This is for my grandmother, who is in her late 80s. Likes to have the odd cider at home. - once a week.
I can't find any small bottles or cans of cider, like you do with beer.
Want something like the Kopperberg 10 can pack, but don't do the apple one. She doesn't like the fruit ones.
Don't suggest a screwcap large bottle as it will go flat.
TIA

You can get Magners in a 330ml bottle http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=264130919.
Although 12 440ml cans is only £9 http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=282799383 so might not work out that bad buying the larger cans and throwing away anything that doesn't get drunk.
I've never heard of K but Tesco have it in 330ml cans http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=264130919

If you have any branches of Home Bargains or B&M close by they often have individual smaller bottles of different ciders for prices like 69p.0

would not recommend K cider as it is 8.4% and she may start swinging off the chandelier if on any meds.:D0 -
I bought Old mout kiwi and lime cider (I had £2 off using the checkout smart app) I never buy fruit cider at all but this was actually quite nice and comes in small cans. Might be worth a go if you use the £2 off http://m.tesco.com/h5/groceries/r/www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=292610730Recently married and loving it x0

As has been said, it can work out cheaper to buy larger and bin it..... it'll probably work great as a kitchen sink drain cleaner
Focus on the total price/bottle, irrespective of the size.... she can tip the excess away if she doesn't get through it.... or she could even try to freeze it as lollies .... just the once to see if they're minging.
Another thing could be to let the remainder go flat and to freeze that to use that as cooking fluid, e.g. if she ever cooks a pork casserole, or something that has a gravy/sauce that'd be enhanced by a bit of apple flavouring.
So the spare needn't all go to waste all of the time.
Who knows, it might even work as a slug killer for the garden (like beer's used).0 -
Does she like 'proper' cider, the sort that isn't fizzy? You could buy a bigger bottle of that as it wouldn't go flat.0

home bargains have Italian cider in 300ml bottles for 49p although this maybe hit & miss in some stores"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

Some of the larger Waitrose stores have an excellent range of ciders. Worth looking at and buying when on offer but may never beat B&M prices. I like trying some of the bottled Continental ciders (esp. Spanish ones). Personally, I like the bottle (esp. Stowford Press draught cider, Orchard Pig... and Weston Organic Premium Cider), but I am a fan of 330ml cans (esp.Weston's Caple Rd which can be bought as a 4/6 pack?).
This site may be helpful - but I've never tried it:
