Because the populations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are no bigger than most England regions.0

Couldn't find last year's!
But even so - why is it mostly white people who use the site? It just doesn't seem representative of the population.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

Goodness - I don't actually know! I guess more than the 5% represented on last year's census?
Well 2011 put it at 87.7%ENFP - AssertiveOfficially in a clique of idiotsSmoke me a kipper; I'll be back for breakfast0 -

12.3% is still a statistically signifcant difference from the 5% using this site, I wonder why? (Not a rhetorical question, I genuinely wonder ).
Was surprised NI was as high as 96% "White British"!Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

Given that the majority of respondents are white, straight, married Christians with kids and educated to at least A Level, do the MSE team have an action plan around making the site more accessible to other groups? The response patterm is clearly not representative of the UK population so I think the team need to address that. (And I'm speaking as someone in the majority!)0

Why would they want to do that? Well-educated people with children sounds like a very good demographic for attracting companies to agree to affiliation deals.
If they are going to pay MSE for every new customer introduced via a link from MSE, the last people they want are poor people who aren't going to spend much.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Yes - sorry! I just realised what I did!
I wonder why too? Do they feel they do not need to use a money saving site? I'll be honest - I do not use the money saving part! I'm here just for The Arms :rotfl:ENFP - AssertiveOfficially in a clique of idiotsSmoke me a kipper; I'll be back for breakfast0 -
