MBNA have assigned a CC debt to Arrow Global who have appointed Credit & Business Services Ltd to manage the account.
C&BS Ltd have just called to say that they want £200 per month or legal action will be taken - offer from CCCS is around £39.
Has anyone had any dealings with these people?
Or, can anyone explain what will happen next?
Just as I think we're coping someone comes along and makes me really worry

Have you advised CCCS that this has happened, that the debt has been assigned. Once they are aware of the situation they will forward your repayment proposals to the "new" creditor and commence payments to them.
DCA's always threaten legal action but the majority of the time, it is an idle threat and they go on happily accepting your payments based on what you can afford. DCA's are paid by the creditor to collect money on their behalf, alot of the time it will be on a commission basis. That is why they always ask for a higher figure.
Once they have the repayment proposal and can see your other creditors and assuming that your payments are on a pro rata basis, they should be fine.0
