I learned a valuable lesson this week - always keep a note of what hours you work and how much you think you are owed by your employer.
My employer accidentally underpaid me by £10 this month. Wasn't a big deal - I just went to the finance office and they gave me a £10 note there and then.
I know it seems like common sense, but I've only started doing it recently (I only work part time a few nights a week) and fortunately it paid off, so I thought I should recommend it to anyone who doesn't already.
